Dangote Further Reduces Petrol Price as Direct Supply to Filling Stations Begins Monday

 The Dangote Petroleum Refinery has announced a fresh reduction in the pump price of petrol across the country.

The new prices ranging from N841 to N851 per litre, marked the beginning of free fuel distribution scheme set to commence on Monday, September 15.

The company, in a public notice on Friday, announced the reduction of the ex-depot price of petrol, now to sell at N820 per litre. It invited petrol stations nationwide to register for free delivery which it said would be accompanied by other benefits.

The Dangote Group spokesman, Anthony Chiejina, confirmed the development.

“We are starting the free fuel distribution scheme on Monday. We will start with Lagos and the South West, Abuja, Kwara, Delta, Rivers and Edo States. There will be a drop in price effective on Monday when the free distribution starts”, it said.
