A three-day crusade begins tomorrow at the main campus of the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife. Osun State. It is being organised by the Christ Livingspring Apostolic Ministry (CLAM), Omole, Lagos under the auspices of CLAM Global Outreach (CLAMGO), its crusade and evangelism arm.
According to Pastor Wole Oladiyun, Senior Pastor of CLAM, the OAU crusade is in continuation of CLAM’s mandate to win souls for Christ. He added that considering the eminent roles youths are destined to play in the development of the country, it is pertinent that efforts should be made to harvest their souls for Christ early, mentor and guide them to the fulfilment of their destinies.
The crusade will feature prayer and deliverance ministrations, youth development seminars, medical outreach, and distribution of welfare items to the students.
CLAM has organised crusades in many villages in Nigeria. It has never collected offering from any crusade, according to Pastor Oladiyun. In his words, “God warned me never to collect offering during crusades. I have never done so and I will never do so. Rather, at each crusade, CLAM donates food, clothes, and other welfare items to the people”.
CLAM is a word-based prayer and deliverance ministry founded on April 2, 1998. CLAM’s vision is “apostolic revival for global soul harvesting”. The Ministry has prayer centres in Lekki, Abuja, and Houston, Texas, USA, with other centres coming up soon
“Crusade is my passion, and winning souls for Christ gives me joy more than any other thing. God has used me to reach out to many dying souls in villages and towns that nobody likes to go all over Nigeria. We have been to dangerous places and by God’s grace, we survived and won souls. This is what I will do till I am called home by God. I have no other passion than crusades. Don’t buy me clothes or shoes. Give me money for crusades”, Pastor Oladiyun added.
