CHIEF SEGUN ODUSANYA EMERGES CHAIRMAN, ONDO STATE FORUM OF PERMANENT SECRETARIES ‎

‎The Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources, Chief Segun Odusanya, has been elected the Chairman, Ondo State Forum of Permanent Secretaries.

‎Chief Odusanya emerged the Chairman of the forum after an election held during its monthly meeting in Akure.

‎His election with other executive members marked a smooth transition from the previous committee led by the Permanent Secretary, Ondo State Pension Board, Chief Bunmi Alade.

‎In his acceptance speech, Chief Odusanya pledged to uphold the core values and principles that define the state’s public service.

‎He stressed the importance of high ethical standards and dedication to duty in ensuring effective governance and public trust.

‎Odusanya thanked members of the Forum for the confidence reposed in him and other elected officials, describing the new commitment as a call to service.

‎Other elected officials are:
‎- Chief Dele Akinnagbe – Vice‑Chairman
‎- Mrs. Yemi Pirisola – General Secretary
‎- Mr. Idowu Ojo – Assistant General Secretary
‎- Pastor (Mrs.) Toyin Oni – Treasurer
‎- Mrs. Tolu Adeyemi – Financial Secretary
‎- Dr. (Pharm.) Foluke Aladenola – Welfare Officer 1
‎- Mrs. Funke Dare‑Atunse – Welfare Officer 2

Ondo Government closes Ilesha Garage/Aule road for maintenance on Saturday, January 4th..

The Ondo State Ministry of Works and Infrastructure will commence the construction of culverts on the Ilesha Garage/Aule road on Saturday, 4th of January. 2025. The state government is taking the advantage of the Clement weather to reconstruct the coverts and make the road easily motorable now and during the rainning season. As a result of this, the state government hereby inform the general public that the road leading from Ilesha Garage to Aule community will be closed throughout Saturday, 4th of January, 2025 during the period of the maintenance operation. After Decades of Interregnum, Ondo Government to Appoint Justices of the Peace (JP)* ‎

‎The Ondo State Government has finalised plans to appoint the title of Justices of the Peace (JP) among qualified individuals across the state. ‎ ‎This initiative follows the approval earlier this year by Governor Dr Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa for the selection and appointment of qualified individuals to hold the office pursuant to Section 12 (f) of the Magistrates’ Courts Law of Ondo State, Cap. 90. ‎ ‎Dr Olukayode Ajulo, OON, SAN, the Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice in Ondo State, noted that this approval marks the end of an interregnum lasting more than a decade. ‎ ‎This initiative is part of Governor Aiyedatiwa’s efforts to strengthen grassroots justice and reinforce the rule of law throughout the state. ‎ ‎The Attorney General mentioned that applicants for offices have been screened, and those who met the required qualifications have been shortlisted and submitted to the Governor for final approval. ‎ ‎He emphasised that the individuals nominated repres…
