This incident occured on December 3, 2020, at J23 car wash around Shasha/Egbeda, Coker Estate, Lagos.
The owner of the car was identified as Deji.
He told the attendant, Idris Ayotunde Rauph, to vacuum the car, but the attendant responded that the car wash doesn’t have vacuuming facility. He then volunteered to vacuum the car elsewhere and return with the car.
That was how he took the car and absconded.
After Several Social Media Posts Circulating his picture and the car, he was found and arrested at Abeokuta.The car has since been recovered and is in police custody
