Arsenal are reportedly close to tying down Bukayo Saka to a new long-term deal after months of negotiations.
The 18-year-old is currently still on the £3,000-a-week contract he signed when he first turned professional in 2018. However, that deal is due to expire next summer.
Saka’s outstanding performances in his breakthrough season have prompted transfer interest from the likes of Borussia Dortmund and Liverpool.
The youngster has established himself as a key part of Arsenal’s first team after excelling in multiple positions, including left-back, central midfield and on the wing.
And according to The Athletic, negotiations with Saka’s representatives are in the final stages and an official announcement is expected this week.
